Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to manage key accounting operations, financial reporting, reconciliations, compliance and financial analysis on behalf of our client. The role will work closely with management and the finance team to ensure accurate financial information and strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets and other accounting operations.

• Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports and financial analysis.

• Perform bank, ledger and account reconciliations.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow management and cost control.

• Ensure timely compliance with Rwandan tax and statutory requirements.

• Coordinate audit requirements and provide supporting financial documentation.

• Maintain effective internal controls and identify financial risks.

• Support inventory reconciliation, costing and financial performance analysis.

• Analyze variances, trends and profitability and provide insights to management.

• Support continuous improvement and automation of accounting processes.
